startinfo error

I downloaded the game off the Utorrent download and put the game in my documents folder, but when i launch trgame xtrap does its thing for a second then i get startinfo error and some text thats in korean or japanese. Can anyone help?

Edit:After running the game as an admin the game will be in your processes which you can end the process and rerun as an admin.

i can give you two things to try out and see if they work, first you have to right click the phoenix launcher and hit properties, once you do that go to compatibility and hit "run this program as an administrator and hit apply, than try to launch it again.

the other way to try is to right click the phoenix launcher hit properties and hit "security" click on account unknown and hit edit, and than hit deny all and apply, to both unknown.

if that doesn't work try to re download the launcher by itself. and see what happens

Neither of those worked unfortunately (atleast not without me doing something else) after trying your trick i decided to look in my processes and there it was phoenix tales runner taking up 25k memory. So i ended that process and ran as an admin and it worked ill update my original post.

can someone help i have the same problem that Maleel had and i did what she did and also what DarkFox90210 said to do and nothing work i also re-downloaded it and it still says start up info not found

Edit: ok i got a new problem i got it to start up and everything but once i get into the game it stays at a black screen

if its saying start up info not found, it meens you dont have it in with all the origional files of the main game folder. the main start up info is always in the main folder with all the game files.

Of the problem you have, like when does it occur, a picture of your problem basically.

its just a black screen it stays at that is all nothing big no error or anything

Never launch Phoenix TR from 'trgame.exe', that way of signing in is forbidden, that is if you want to see the login screen, you cannot access your account. As for the 'start.info' problem,

Steps:
1. Copy your Phoenix TR launcher, paste it into a different client of Talesrunner.
e.g. Prizma TalesRunner
2.Go to where your launcher is located,
3. Right click your launcher, Run it as administrator.
4. See if the problem proceeds. If it does, reply to this post.

no i do not have applocale installed do i need it?

It is for translation, and you need it for your start up info.

ok light i got it but it is not launching now also i cant launch it with out it now like i did before and it is just doing nothing please help

You don't need to open AppLocale, just go run your Phoenix TR Launcher as administrator, click the checkbox 'AppLocal', log in, then everything should be half Korean/English. If you have problems logging in, tell me what your problem(s) is/are.

my problem is that when i do click that box and try to log in nothing happens

When you say 'nothing happens' does x-trap come up or anything?
Plus, that check box is just there for you to click it, then Applocale will do it's job in game, not when you click the box.

x-trap does not open up or pop up like nothing happens as i stated it pretends like it is going to load but does not and when i unclick the applocale box xtrap pops up and it loads the game up and then stays at a black screen

Go to your task manager, end the Phoenix TR process, then try again and it should work as nothing is corrupting it from running.
