Error hashing?

kay, cut to da chase, when i play phoenix talesrunner ( i <3 it ) i can play for an hour or 45 minutes, then auomatically shuts off. Then, when i try to log in it says error hashing. I check the website and it says the server if online, i downloaded v6 , hpoing that caused the issue, when i run as admin, it says i don't have the appropriate permissions. I dunno what to do , hopefully you can tell me how to get v6 to work or why this is happening?

yea i did, it still said error hashing

the day after it usually works. also, are you gonna shut down v4? cuz v6 isn't working

We do not plan on shutting down any clients at the moment.
Have you visited Hikari's thread on hashing problems?
If not, please do take the time to, and there hopefully will be a solution to your issue.

i have seen Hibari`s post, though reason 1 does not apply to my error , im not quite sure about reason 2, it works most of the time tho i will try it out, P.S do u have to be a moderator or gm to get a pic on your profile

No you do not.
You can modify your changes by simply clicking 'Profile' at almost the top of the page.
It should be beside 'User groups' and 'You have no new messages'.

it didn't work, can you try to help me fix v6 instead? it says "windows cannot access the specified device,path or file. You may not have th appropriate permissions to access the item"

You either didn't run it as admin, or the whole folder is not in the exceptions list.

it didn't seem to work, i tried adding it to my firewalls exception list and it said ask your admin.....

If your admin has provided a password with the account, ask the administrator for the password which will be one of your family members I'm suggesting, in your case, it should be you if you are using your own computer/laptop.

Never forget to run your launcher as an administrator.

Alternative;
If none of the above are suitable for your problem, try putting your Phoenix launcher into a different client/folder and run it from there as an admin. E.g. Aeon, Prizma etc.

A. My laptop has no password

B. I didn't download Aeon or prima

C. Now it keeps saying error hashing... i really wanna play                 

Download Aeon or Prizma.
Then put your Phoenix launcher into either of the two pservers.

Stick with Aeon and download it from there.

I'm having the same problem actually, I too am experiencing the hashing problem.
I'll think of a solution.

Ugh, when i try to paste it into aeon folder, it says access folder denied. when i do v4 it just stops at loading packages......

Re-patch the V4 client.
Delete the entire folder, and re-download it.

Now v4 says that i don't have the appropriate permissions!! and now the old v4 is deleted forever T.T

TYTYTY for telling me to put it in aeon , so the launcher isn't gone forever, however the error hashing is still going on....

I do not think you are the only one with the error, So dont worry.

That's unusual.
Try removing your anti-virus program and download 'Avast'.
It is free and secure enough.

Any idea when this might stop?

I Think that the hashing error will stop it self. I Have it, They be fixing Phoenix TR, Thats probably why you cant get on. (I dont think anyone is on Right now) The staff are at 49%+ Complete Fixing! It may take a week or so for TR to be fixed.
